Hefei can be reached by air or by high-speed train via Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. Public transportation and taxi (no reservation is needed) are available at Hefeinan Railway Station and Hefei Xinqiao International Airport. You can take flights via Beijing/Shanghai/Guangzhou to Hefei. The information can be found at: https://www.trip.com/?locale=en_xx It takes about 2-3 hours from Shanghai Hongqiao to Hefei. If you arrive at Shanghai Pudong airport, you can take the Shanghai Airport Link Line to Shanghai Hongqiao railway station (about 40 minutes). It costs about CNY 26. You can also take a taxi which is about CNY 200-300. When you arrive at Shanghai Hongqiao airport, walk to Hongqiao Railway Station（about 5 minutes）and take the high-speed train to Hefei or Hefeinan Railway Station.
